Today probably would have been a good day, but I worked on the taxes. "Good day" and "Worked on taxes" are mutually exclusive terms. You can have one only.
Speaking of taxes, when I turned 65 I began collecting my Tektronix pension, last fall I started collecting Social Security. Those things, coupled with the IRS not taking as big a bite to 'stimulate the economy' led to my paying the feds for the first time in years and years. $37.00 - dang!

I think that "breaking even" is the best scenario, tho...don't you? Relatively speaking, $37 is like .000000000000037 for the guviment. I usually get a huge chunk back because I have them withhold WAY too much. Then I'm angry because those crooks have had MY money all year...but I sure as heck don't want to PAY! Even .0000000000037! Maybe I can't be pleased when it comes to the taxman. :)
